Multiple Options For Dallas Area Ponyfans

Postby Eddie P » Fri Aug 29, 2008 8:55 am

Wow, I am finally allowing myself to get excited about the game. Safe travelling to all of those who are making the trip to Houston. Wish I was with you.

To those staying, I believe the run-down of Dallas options is as follows:

1) SMU Young Alumni Watching Party at Frankies in Uptown

2) Lawn watching party in front of Dallas Hall at SMU

3) Barley House watching party on Yale near SMU. I lived on the M Streets for several years and would probably head here if I still lived in the area.

4) Game watching party at Christies in Uptown.

If you're going to be stuck in Dallas, try to get out and have some fun with your fellow Mustangs. This will sound silly, but area businesses will treat SMU football with more respect if we show with our $$$ that we want to watch our team play. We will never be a priority like UT and ohers, but we can at least make some area businesses notice that Mustang Fans do exist.

You know, I really dont know. That thing has been trying to get built for almost 3 years now. I will stop by at some point just to see what's in it. When last I checked, it looked pretty close.

If you can't find a table or place at frankies, which never happens (grin) try us poor souls down the street at Christies. You might actually find parking too.

Noooo! I was secretly creating this whole Christies thing to divert people away from your house so I would have a spot at your house. I have failed.
