I went and because I was with my friends who are Rice fans we were sitting in the Rice section and I was surrounded by people laughing at me. However, it was fun to run onto the field and high five some guys. BLM was handing out his gear but I missed it. I did tell him "good game" and high fived him though haha.

Anyways, we played like crap. For his first start for a true freshman, Mitchell wasn't too bad but he will need to improve. Throwing 3 INTs (1 for a TD, 1 to the 1 yd line) will never help us. Plus, our defense sucks. If they gave up 56 to Rice, imagine how much Texas Tech is gonna put on us.

I couldn't find June Jones but I just wanted to say turn it around, buddy.

thats pretty bad. i have been to a ton of college football games around the country cheering for some very bad teams but never have i seen a situation where "i was surrounded by people laughing at me..."

were people like looking at you and pointing and laughing?

how may people were laughing at you? 10, 20, 100, 1000?

were they alums, little kids, students, old timers or a hodgepodge of rice peeps?

what was your response during the time they were laughing?

please elaborate, i am trying to visualize the spectacle so details would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I would have fared too well in a situation where people were laughing at me for what a group of student-athletes are doing on the field below.

umm well i was wearing an SMU t-shirt...people mostly older teenagers maybe students and of course my rice-fan friends

i just kind of shrugged it off and then went crazy when SMU scored (except that we were down 56-20 so no one cared)

Next time, just walk up to the biggest son-of-a-b!tch, and then punch him in the throat.

No one will screw with you after that, much less laugh at you.
