Even you had to see differences.
We did a lot of things wrong, but we did a lot of things better, too, and it was. Aldrick Robinson is a stud. Bo Levi Mitchell had some bad throws, but also made some very good throws  he might become a stud... and I'll suggest he will be the QB who wins a game at Rice. Derrius Bell made some really good plays (and a couple of not-so-good ones). Sanders is awesome. Nice to see Bradley Haynes make a play once he got on the field. Jessie Henderson had a great day.

I think JJ, if he didn't already know it, will soon understand SMU fans have little patience for a rebuilding ethos. There needs to a distinct change, a fairly quick ROI, a noticeable difference from the Bennett years. (And Bennett lost to Rice by one last year.)

It really does not matter what SMU fans have patience for or not. JJ was clear up front its his system we will get, and he was clear it will take time to install it. It will get here when it gets here. You can whine about it or get some joy in the journey. We are all weary, and the last part of the trip will be bumpy, but the oasis is right around the corner.

IMHO His system won't make any difference unless we get the players to run it.
Can Bowling Green really be a preferable destination than SMU?
USC is a private school in the center of LA who was down for years.
SMU has the coach now it is time to get the players.

I am sorry for my Budweiser induced outburst last night...sort of a "trained response" after 20+ years of this . The cupboard is fairly bare, especially on D...JJ IS THE MAN, the right guy at the right time..he will turn this thing, quickly. YES!! I did notice some upgrades last night v. previous teams. Patience//patience....btw, can we recruit some D-Backs who are at least 6 feet tall? Looking forward to next week and the progress I know is around the corner. GO MUSTANGS!!!

Unless you are in the Circle you don't have any I to, so no need to concern yourself with any R. We're better and we will be even better. It's game freeking 1. Calm down.

Were you the guy who left the SMU section in the stadium screaming and making a scene last night in the 3rd? If so, you need less alcohol.
