I know we are not a run first offense, but the pass didnt seem to set up the run at all. Most of the rushing attempts seemed to be stopped for little to no gain. Even if you count the shovel pass as a run in this offense, by midway through the 2nd quarter Rice had those going for less and less of a gain.

Sure there is "run" in run and shoot but that doesnt mean we will rush the ball over 30 times a game or rush evenly on every drive. this is a pass first Offense and Pass majority offense. It is all depended on Screems and shovel passes for most of the "rushing" attempts. IMO i thought McKinney looked good in the back field.

its all about Minimizing INTs in this offense, something BLM didnt do
