81 and 88 looked impressive. Big strong guys who can run and catch. Perfect compliment to Sanders and Aldrick .

NO, why would he? Im sure he liked what he saw in the game, just poor execution caused by first game jitters (horrible excuse but I'm sure he feels that way)
WR play is totally fine, its D play that worries JJ. and welcome to the board newbie!

hopefully Bradley Haynes earned some more playing time. We really need him to come through. From comments on this board I had a assumed he was not expected to contribute-which I found puzzling considering some of the guys we trotted out there. He did look a little thick and someone had commented he was overweight and out of shape in fall camp coming off his injury. I wouldn't have rated SMU's "other receivers" a 2 if I thought Haynes could be factor. Sanders, Robinson and healthy in shape Haynes gives me a little more hope at the position. The rest of the receivers are border-line, marginal , dime-a-dozen Division 1A prospects. Maybe they might develop into a possession receiver.

My two concerns about this game were the O line giving the QB time and kids dropping balls.
The line gave Bo more than two seconds every down from what I can remember (LOL)
And I believe I only saw two dropped passes. Hey it’s a start.
The defense will need a couple of Juco Transfers next year and a lot or red meat.
To win more than three games this year THEY will have to play above their capabilities.
