do anyone else think next Saturday is a "must win" game?

could another loss take us into a death spiral?

not entirely but it would certainly bring a new level of embarrassment to this season after rice hung 56 on us

The only reason it would be a must win is the psyche of the players. They need to learn to think of themselves as winners and losing to Texas State would definitely be a setback in that process. But other than that it is just another opportunity for them to learn how to play in this system.

Its a "must win" if SMU is going to build any semblance of momentum for recruiting. ie. building the talent base for the program. We can't not afford another 0 or 1 win season. There won't be any must wins for other purposes for about 3 years.

It is totally a must win game. It may be our only chance for a win.

Despite loss, we will still win four games this year (lower expectations) including next Saturday.

We have a long week to understand and internalize what is needed at every position.

Not a must win. Everybody gets a trophy and hugs after the game.

JJ doesn't care in the slightest about what the critics have to say after a game, or two games, or a season.

He runs a system he believes is proven, and is supremely confident that it will work here, too.

Sure hope we win, that's true, and I'll be there from start to finish, either way. But no, it's not a MUST-win game.

with that logic, so who cares if we win at this point. let's just lose. games are meant to win. get a grip!
