Stubborn JJ

Some people seem critical of the idea that JJ will not make changes, and seems to some "arrogant".

JJ's game is about one thing. Consistency. Everyone knows JJ is going to pass, but his teams are successful because even knowing exactly what they are going to do, they still get it done.

If JJ stands on the sidelines at Rice making changes everywhere, and not keeping a steady course then he is contradicting himself. These kids now know that JJ is sure about what he is doing. He has not questioned himself, or changed his mind. They can now buy into the system even more.

If you ask me, the Rice game confirmed even more: JJ is the man.

A couple of things.

Rice is not that bad, much better than most people around here give them credit for & we will blow out Texas State.

We are all sick & tired of losing but I really believe things will turn around in the next 2-3 years. However, during the Rice whop I was thinking about what if Dennis F. was coaching the team & what would the offense & defense look like.

i agree with u, jj is by no means a pushover. this stubborn attitude might look arrogant and egotistical, but its something our program has lacked for quite some time. the guy knows what he wants and he knows how to get it
