BECAUSE I CAN! no reason really. I just know some people like to bash on UT for always getting in trouble

maybe UT isn't the place for him. What year is he? Sophomore perhaps? or RS Sophomore? Transfer, sit out, come play for us son. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Who wouldn't take the occasional player arrest to have 9 and 10 win seasons every year? It certainly didn't keep 98,000 from being at the game last night. Our total home attendance this year might not even be 98,000.

I'd rather have a mediocre second tier team than thugs that are arrested every other week or players that go to practice with their put bulls in tow (which is a fact).

I knew someone would say that. no they arent but it should be a goal.

better yet I would rather be an SMU fan than follow that model of football

you had to have known someone would say it, my point is, sure UT gets into a lot of trouble but they win no matter what. They don't let issues like that effect playing

I think its wrong but you cannot control players, especially when they live in Austin.

talk about defending the criminal. thats why you have rules and consequences. you can't let evrone run wild. that would be senseless.

how was that defending the criminals? all i said was they find ways to win without letting the legal trouble of teamates effect their play. they have rules and consequences, and each player that has been in trouble with the law at UT has been right fully suspended. It all just varies from program to program, school to school. we all should know that by now.

for example, u don't let your players show to practice with pit bulls in the locker room using the team's weight gainers to get them bigger or allow them to let the dogs on the treadmills. it was out of control out there.

it was true of the DBs on the national championship team. especially the one that ended up getting drafted by the titans. I forget his name.

I just remembered - Griffin.
