What are yalls predictions on the score of the tech game?

I predict it will be whatever Mike Leach wants it to be - but realistically i think they hang 65-75 on us.

Thoughts?

i was trying to be a little optimistic but i think they put up 50 in the first half then play a little more conservatively and score a "modest" 25ish in the 2nd half. not looking forward to this one in the slightest

You're talking about Mike Leach here. If he had the chance to score 100, I seriously believe he would try to.

Graham Harrell has had just 3 td and 3 int this year. And thats against eastern washington and nevada. Maybe they will not score as many points as we think. he also had a 41 % comp vs Nevada

Remember...Leach is the guy who tried to score another TD at the end of the game against SMU a couple of years ago at Ford with a SUBSTANTIAL lead which then lead to a confrontation with PB at midfield after the final gun.

Flipside of this scenario: JJ could have had the Mustangs tack on another TD tonight against TSU with less than a minute remaining in the game with the ball resting within the 1 yd. line but...he didn't. Had QB Bo Levi Mitchell take a knee.

Mike Leach = classless
June Jones = class

Eastern Washington and Nevada both have better defensive units than SMU does (and I don't need stats to bring me to that conclusion)

Ok, I have to say it.. I honestly believe that our 2008 defense is the WORST defense we have had since the days when Mike Romo was the SMU QB and the team was 95% freshmen.

This has been 2 games now where the defense didn't seem to care about stopping the run or the pass.

Tech has Michael Crabtree (a future NFL star), and Graham Harrell. If the Ponies don't seem to really try all that hard, I bet Tech scores at least 70 points.

Whats more, the Tech defense will fly at Bo Levi. Yes it will help him become a better QB for the future, but yikes.

My prediction..

Texas Tech 81
SMU 21
