He was on the sideline in street closes the entire time. Is that considered playing now?

Then why were the Mustangs awarded only 2 pts.?

Even in the box score, it is called a 2-pt TD. Confusing.

I just found the answer to my own question.

If on a try/PAT field goal the kick is blocked the defense may return the ball for a two point TD.

Did Derrius Bell put himself in the SMU record books tonight? Is he the first Mustang to ever do this?

The defense really missed Bonilla tonight.

I do commend Alex Odiari for getting hurt with what looked like a pretty bad ankle injury, then shaking it off and playing the 2nd half.

The Texas State CBs were awful-Robinson is going to make big plays all year but they were just awful and we've seen awful CBs around here for awhile. Very interested to see how he performs against quality competition against TCU and Tech.

I thought it looked more like a leg cramp. But I could be wrong.

He was grabbing his calf before he went down, so I would think cramp as well
