Considering the seriousness of the problems with our defense this is very petty. But does anyone agree with me that the new uniforms are pretty bad? I think it is all of the stripes that I dont like maybe. Anyway, I think they strike me as having too much stuff. Didnt show up well on the screen. I am not Ralph Lauren but I know what I like and I dont really like the look. I will agree that I am happy to be rid of the dark blue helmets.

Better than anything we've had in awhile. Color is fine. Lose the stripes. Bring back the SMU Lettering.

i like the new uniforms overall but i agree that there are too many stripes on the jerseys and on the helmet. simplify.

Helmets are fine - too many stripes on the jerseys but the look is still very nice.

yet again another straight week we have complaints about the uniforms.

Let them win more games, then we can complain about them

i guess you are right about that. anything to get our minds off that pathetic excuse for a efense.

Helmets are fine. Stripes look like Florida. All in all I'd rather have these than pretty much any look we've thrown down since Cavan. We're going to get killed losing contain with Tech going around the corners next week.

yea i would take off a couple stripes, but we have bigger problems with this team than the uni's

Agreed.

My theory is that if we are gonna give up 60 points a game we should look damn good while we do it. SMU should demonstrate class and style whether we are winning or losing.

Agree. The design could be improved though the basic design is nice. Yes - it's a classic. As for the school colors - definitely needing improvement back to our traditional colors. Plus lighter shades of red & blue (like they are now) do not mix well compared to the darker shades of the colors - crimson & Yale blue. Probably one of the reasons why Dr. Hyer selected them along with the symbolic reasons of excellence that both those universities represent - which was & hopefully still our model.
