Keys to the TTEch game

IMO here are the keys to keeping the Tech game within 21 points:

1. We run the clock down on every offensive play. We have to keep their offense off the field.
2. We use JWill as a slot receiver to bring more athleticism and the threat of another passer.
3. We blitz every play and play to prevent the deep ball. Make Tech eat the clock moving up the field. Maybe we get lucky and have a sack or force a fumble.

Otherwise, that classless clown will run up 50+ points on SMU. His classlessness may be why he hasn't been able to land a big time job despite all the success he has had at Tech.

#3: even if it does happen, our secondary is useless, GH could just throw it up for grabs and MC would most likely get the ball and score

the ONLY way we have a chance is if GH doesnt play, MC doesnt play or we play an all around perfect game: NO TOs, NO penalties, 3+ consecutive stops by our D, we score everytime we have the ball. NO dropped balls by our players (offense and defense).

I don't think we have a prayer against TT, but am interested in seeing how JJ uses JW the rest of the year.

This won't work. If you go back the past several years and look at how teams have beaten Tech, they do so by knocking their receivers off their routes. Yes, it would be nice to see some pressure put on Harrell, but our efense doesn't have that type of ability. Couple that with the size of Tech's offensive line, and that's a wrap. I am sure Leach will try to throw it deep a few times, but for the most part, it is a Dink and Dunk Mickey Mouse offense they use.
