New Mustang weightloss plan

Postby RGV Pony » Mon Sep 08, 2008 9:30 am

A couple of writeups on Dollens & Zach Thomas before the season had them up to 280/290. At the game it looked like they had dropped 30/40 lbs each from such weight. Can we give those guys a few extra biscuits?

Oh, and maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention, but it seems like everytime I looked closely at the D-Line, Dollens was in and Handy was out. What gives? Is Handy hurt? Or was I too absorbed trying to figure out who the hell has contain?

I don't know - I walked by both Dollens and Thomas after the game (they were on their way out of the stadium), and they're both pretty damn big. I don't know if they're 290, but they sure aren't 30 pounds under that. Somewhere in between, perhaps.

At one point in the Rice game, we had defensive players go down on 3 consecutive plays. I think Handy was one of them. Not sure if that injury is still lingering.

When Serge goes out for rest our D-Line is 230. 257,260,225.

Not who has contain but who can move before being pushed aside.

That is a probelm.

We need 4 300 pound guys with dancing feet. :D

I think that was a cramping/conditioning issue

Zac sat at our table for the football kick-off lunch and I would guess he was easily 270-275. Former Pony player Darren Harrington was sitting next to him and Zac made him look small. Darren is at least 245-250.
