DMN update note on the defense

For the season, the Mustangs have scored four touchdowns off the seven turnovers. Should have had a field goal as well. But they are converting when they get the short field.

The major difference came with five forced turnovers, compared to zero in losing to Rice.


Did we play a game I don't know about or does the abacus really say 5 +0 = 7 ?

We had two fumble recoveries on special teams as I recall.

She probably needed to clarify that. I looked at that and said that doesn't sound right because of the Rice game. That said, she's technically right saying the defense forced 5 against Texas State. She probably needed to add the special teams coverted two fumbles against Rice.
