Posted: Wed Sep 10, 2003 6:22 pmWell.......... sort of. If you read closely, they dont get hit with much of a penalty beyond what they self imposed already. They can still go to the NCAA tournament this year, and they will host the WAC tourney. Strange coincidence, Tarkanian gets laid off and no longer works for the university and the next day the NCAA basically tells Fresno there wont be any more penalties. Imagine that?
