The Hurricane has turned east, Lubbock is saved! Again

Well, it looks like Lubbock will be spared from Hurricane Ike. It will just be windy as usual on Saturday.

We're getting ready in Lufkin but my biggest concern is how and where I'm going to watch the SMU/Tech game. Fox sports is running the Astros game on my cable which ticks me off.

Sounds like sand storm conditions. I was in one once in Lubbock. My blue car was completely brown. Those things are nasty. Maybe the sand will help us.

No they are saying we might not get much rain or wind in Austin
