Nice. Your gazillion-dollar franchise quarterback kneeling down near traffic. What's the story if he'd been clipped by a Buick?

scott van pelt's imitation on SC of what the guy said to romo when he found out who he was, was hilarious!

I thought this thread was going to be about Mike or Jerad.

Nice to know that if I ever get into the extremely high income range that I have your approval not to be nice to people in need. Where were you when Roberto Clemente was alive?

My engine died once and I was pushing the car into a parking space so I could get it towed and Sam Huff (way past his playing days I might add) stopped and helped me push it. Kudo's to Romo. There are some decent guys in the NFL. I ran into Clinton Portis at a Caps game in the food line, and he was much nicer and gracious than I expected. He also promised to play extra hard against the Cowboys.

how rare is it to see the media publish a story about an athlete doing something good

Of course they did not mention that Romo hollered out the final score as he drove away.

You mean the Romo brothers (I know - not related) who actually matter?

I like the feel good stories about ex-athletes, but that's just me.
