Anyone planning a big group tailgate for this weekend? or know of a good place to set one up? I'm not very familiar with the parking situation at Baylor.

It would nice to get a group of rowdy Pony fans together before the game.

I've been told that the only place to be, regardless of school, is George's Tent. George's is a restaurant west of I35 that sets up a big tent somewhere across from campus, so adult beverages can be served,etc. That's where we'll be.

George's Tent is actually set up across the street from Floyd Casey Stadium, which is several miles from the campus. (Don't worry, BR&B...since you're with me, I'll make sure you get there. )

just so you guys know if you want to tailgate, get to the stadium more than an hour before kickoff and parking is free. tons of people will be tailgating in touchdown alley which streches from georges tent all the way to the stadium.

Isn't a Baylor tailgater one who follows his roommate too close?

Anyone going to throw a fit if we bring beer? I never remember whether ya'll allow drinking on campus or in the parking lot at your games.

I tailgate BU games all the time, but you need to bring cups for the beer and don't act like an [deleted] and you'll be fine. There is plenty of parking, but you will be on the grass since the paving doesn't start until next year. If you see the old men with their pants pulled up past their sagging man breasts, just be nice and hold the cup behind you.
