It's only some of the best Mexican food money can buy. It's on S. 1st here in Austin... near Oltorf.

I recommend the Burrito Compestos. Highly recommend it, in fact. Just thinking about it, I might run over and have one before SMU kickoff. On second thought, I've got my beer and brats here.... but maybe tomorrow. Yum.

There are so many darn good Mexican food restaurants in this town, it's scary. That being said, I'd put Polvo's at or near the top. Oh and watch out for the parking. Just like most everything in South Austin, the parking lots are scary tiny. Kind of a shock moving here from North Dallas.

Thanks, Thadfilms.

I will be down at the lakehouse in two weeks I might run over to Austin and try it. Never pass an opportunity for good TexMex or BBQ

You can get plenty of both here. Shoot me a PM or start a thread on the general board when you are in this area, I've got plenty of suggestions, as I am sure other Austin based PFers do as well.

It's drained. Time to fill it with Peruna.
