to not review the Sanders catch....no doubt that was a TD. Call a TO and make sure it is reviewed.

It was reviewed, they just did not have to stop play since he was obviously out of bounds before the ball got to the pylon.

No. Every play is reviewed upstairs. The announcers after griping said the truck was called by the official reviewers and told there was a review done, and he was out of bounds.
Very seldom if ever do the officials on the field call for a review. I do not believe they are allowed except when requested by a coach.

I thought he was in-bounds UNLESS he pivoted his foot after the initial plant which I never really saw.

Again, every play is reviewed. It is not the same as pro ball.

His last step was 2 inches or more out of bounds. I had no doubt when seeing it even in fast motion.

mrydel, you must have been looking at something I wasn't because we looked at it several times and his foot never went out of bounds.
But it is a moot point. The most unacceptable thing is that J Willis is not on the field. Mitchell is not even close to ready for D-1 football.

That was the defenders foot - you can see sanders legs in the air as he was diving for the pylon - touchdown SMU.

I may be old but I am not blind or stupid. They froze the frame with his foot out of bounds . It was not the defender, the ball was not over the end line. He was out of bounds. If I wake in the morning and there are 7 more points on the board for SMU I will consent you are right, but please do not disparage me by telling me I do not know the difference in one person's foot and anothers. And yes, his legs were in the air when he hit the pylon. He stepped out of bounds before he leapt.
