Who are you directing that question to? If you are asking Jones, chances are he's not going to listen to you.

You just gotta ride it out. It wasn't fun from the first play on but when your freshman QB faces arguably the best team SMU is going to see this year, you could this coming.
The learning curve is never easy.

Are you kidding? How many frosh were ont he offensive line today? A true frosh at center is a recipie for disaster.
This season is a developmental season. At least we went up there and actually ran the offense and the defense. The kids will learn. BLM made some bad decisions tonight and he will learn from them. If he doesn't play he won't learn.
I will sacrifice a couple of wins this season for a .500 record next year. And believe me, playing any other QB on the roster isn't going to magically create a winning season this year.

.
The offensive line wasn't the problem tonight. They actually played pretty well, especially considering the opponent. Our QB had time to make plays.

Then he would join a long list of SMU QB's ever since Ramon Flanigan was our QB..................

Although, the chance for success is slim this season, it will have been wasted.

Is there a QB on this team that could have made our margin of error vs Tech less then 40 - I think not. Why not let BLM his education on a sure loss game?
This week is different - I hope he will be on a short leash vs TCU. Last time we beat them at home with Willis running crazy on them and DMyron up the middle in the only game I have seen where he reached his potential. For one game it might be nice to try that before we go back to QB school for the rest of the season - I'm fine having everyone learn this yr - but it would be nice to try to beat our cross town rival instead of have another QB 101 class.
The probelm is if it works, JJ has a qb issue - which he does not want....

Willis hasn't beaten TCU; he hasn't ever played them at home.

BLM shows great accuracy on short-range and medium-range passes. But he's thrown long on 90% of his deep balls. In prior games they fell harmlessly, but the Tech DB's have great hands and capitalized. Hopefully, he can correct this problem soon.
