Julian Herron

- Had his first career fumble recovery



Jessie Henderson

- Had 4 kickoff returns for 88 yards and now has 87 career returns for 2151 yards

- Trails Jonas Rutledge by 3 yards for the SMU KOR record (2154 from 2000-03)

- Moves into fourth in career KOR yards in Conference USA

- The 40-yard return was his longest since a 46-yard return against Texas Tech in Dallas last season



Aldrick Robinson

- Had a TD reception and now has five on the season

- Has a TD catch in all three games this season



Emmanuel Sanders

- had 8 catches for 125 yards

- this is his 7th career 100-yard game, and 4th consecutive

- now has 1878 career receiving yards to move into 7th at SMU



Youri Yenga

- had a forced fumble for the second straight game, it was the third of his career

- had a sack, now has 2.5 for the season and 5 for his career

Yenga is my favorite player on D. Also i though Herron showed some real speed. Butler+Turner= Better

With our "swiss cheese" defense, it looks like Henderson will get plenty of chances to return kickoffs this year.................

Zach Thomas made an eye-opening tackle tracking down a ballcarrier running down the sidelines and catching him 40 yards downfield. Anybody else see that. Kid can move pretty good for a big guy.

KOR yardage is one of the least significant IMO. When the other teams are scoring bunches of TDs on your defense you are bound to get KOR yards. Give me average yards per KOR any day like JH got his freshman year.

Edit: JH is #88 in avg yards per KOR, SMU is #100 out of 118.

There are several folks who take heat for being negative, but you really make them sound like cheerleaders. Are you ever NOT miserable?
