With power out....no radio....a tree having fallen on one of our bathrooms hours earlier...and the storm still raging outside...I got a text message from my girlfriend telling me the score.

And I, at first, took a second glance.

Then, I cheered for a second.....I cheered because we only gave up 43 points....

Wow. And I still feel good about it. I haven't seen any other thing about the game (outside of hearing how they failed to score from the one at the end of both halves). But I still feel good about it.

Now, beat TCU.

we failed to score from the 1 too. 1st and Goal. From the shotgun. I thought that was automatically solved when we fired Bennett because he was stupid.

I like June but do wish we could put a qb under center and go from the one

I like June too. Likeable guy, great job at Hawaii. I hate the true freshman qb choice and how its panning out though. also hope he can get some jucos and transfers in here soon like he did at Hawaii.
