yo so what's up with the jerseys this year.. they're nice and all but the S M U is tiny.. my bro was telling me that the S M U looked like it was in Arial font size 14... haha

The small lettering makes the players look bigger. 
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Apparently, your brother has no clue what he's talking about.
Arial is a Sans-serif font. The "SMU" lettering on the jerseys has serifs.
