Hey Andy, you remember Bo, don't you?The fact that Bo was back-up QB to Andy Dalton at Katy HS in 2005-6 adds another intriguing storyline to Saturday's TCU game. That in itself could be a very strong positive/negative motivator for Bo this week...
Re: Hey Andy, you remember Bo, don't you?
heres to hoping its all positive motivation because im sick of seeing INTs
On a positive note, BLM is ranked 52 on the QB index, while Dalton is ranked 90. If it's always about the QB, we should win easily!
too bad it doesnt and we have to worry about are toothpick defense

QB rating is an awesome stat for the QB, but it doesn't mean anything when you're ticking the L column. 2-2 baby, 2-2. Sir, shooting-star, sir.

Do the math.....
Andy is two years older than BLM; he didn't play BACKUP to Andy He was on the freshman team. He became starting Varsity QB his junior year, after Andy graduated. Andy is a great QB! Pony Prayer: "Dear Lord, Be my wings and lift me to new hieghts, be my shield and protect me from harm" Amen
I still hope Andy loses. TCU sux, and so does their stupid band. ![]() ![]() "Moderation in all things, and especially in Absoluts [vodka]." The Benediction, Doc Breeden, circa 1992
Actually Bo was a sophomore during Andy's senior season and probably played JV. I said back-up because Bo was moved up to Varsity during the 2005 playoffs alongside Dalton, Dresden and other QBs. "Back-up" is probably a hyperbole because Katy coaches would be much more likely to play one of their JR or SR QBs before Bo but I have no doubt that they practiced/competed amongst one another and Bo was probably pretty high in that rotation because he became the starter his JR year. The point is that they both probably have a strong opinion of the other and that's interesting. http://www.katyathleticboosterclub.org/ ... ster05.pdf
At least some coaches out there still know the natural order/progression for the QB position. ![]()
