TCU game soldout?

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Mon Sep 15, 2008 5:48 pm

Talked to the ticket office this afternoon, and they said, "it will be full, and maybe a sellout." There are only a handful of seats left on the west sideline.

With SMU's season ticket holders way up, TCU at 3-0 and the huge throng of TCU fans that came last time TCU was in Ford this game should sell out or at least 30,000. Not surprised at all. I'm sure there will be plenty of TCU fans.

"close" to a sellout for SMU means about 26k these days. I will be pleasantly surprised if 30k turn out for this one

For $838.50, you can buy seats 1-30 in section 224 - right on the 50ydline - from ticketmaster.

But printing at home costs extra!!

Isn't it Parents Weekend too. Its up to SMU Fans to fill the Stadium-no excuse because at a minimum there will be 8,000 TCU fans.

Ford rocks when it is full. Looking forward to Saturday night at Ford.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

So does Moody. Can't wait to see the day we put 30,000 in Ford and 7,500 in Moody on a regular basis. I still think we will get there...hopefully in my lifetime.
