Anyone remember when I said PB should have been let go in 2006, so we would have been living this misery in 2007, and now, in 2008, we could be expecting better things?

Valid point. Jones contract wasnt up, he was getting ready for his biggest year at Hawaii. He wouldnt have been available.

but some of our Pony brethren apparently think that June has already screwed up the program worse than last year. Maybe we could have had a coach that would do things their way.

I hear coaching by committee works. I suggest a 5-poster panel led, of course, by stallion. The remaining four spots can be filled by popular vote.

did you really think PB would be let go after a 6-6 season? basing your "i told you so" on this season assumes that (a) JJ would have come to SMU in 06 (unlikely with the team he had returning to Hawaii in 07) or (b) that we could have found a better coach then JJ after the 06 season. I highly doubt either of those scenarios...
