According to Froggy High's website, James Vess sat out the entire 2007 season because of a "violation of university policy." Any idea what he did?

It is the same reason given for RB Aaron Brown and another player who at least missed the first two games of this season. TCU friend of mine said everybody he knows is tight-lipped about this.

If our TCU friends have insight, it would be interesting to know.

Nope.

Aaron Brown and counterpart did something that the NCAA mandates a two-game suspension for, though TCU upped it to four (originally kicked out of the university until their appeal).

James Vess violated university policy though not team policy. In no way was his offense affiliated with the law in any manner.

But undoubtedly there was no way his offense was affiliated with common sense in any manner.

Undoubtedly. But, I can assure you it wasn't a hate-crime... :)

That wasn't a hate crime, it was an attitude adjustment
