Tickets in our sections for Visitors

Postby gostangs » Tue Sep 16, 2008 10:17 pm

Not be unhospitable, but the this game always brings up a pet pieve - I really do not enjoy having the visiting fans in front of me or around me when I am sitting in what should be a solidly SMU section - so I would like to suggest a new tradition. If you have extra seats and someone wants them, ask who they are rooting for...if it is not SMU then kindly suggest they buy some seats where they will be welcome - on the visitors side.

No matter how good a friend they are - DO NOT give seats to the oppostion in our sections - it is annoying for the rest of us who are stuck trying to be nice when they are being jerks (TCU and TECH come to mind here) or even when they are nice (Tx State) it is still a pain. Show your section mates a little love and either eat the tickets or give/sell them to a Mustang.

Or you can always give them jtstang

No exceptions.

I won't be able to be there. My son has his 1st Upward soccer game at same time. Un-friggin'-believable. But he gets preference; he will know I chose him first.

My season tickets are with Mustang1991. Hope he gives them to anyone but Christina. Dammit. I'm not a man-whore for being married and saying that the blonde Theta in the BMW is "hot blond chick in BMW".

No Horn Frogs. They suck.

It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

Beginner's league. Frankly, it's a ministry of a local Baptist Church, and East Texas Baptist University allows the gratis use of their intramural fields as their contribution. It's a small town. The local competitive league is a joke run by a raving lunatic who spends more time MIA than actually running a soccer league. This is a comfortable substitute for kids under eleven as well as a Challenger component (special needs children)...my little guy has a genetic disorder, and this is his thing.

More than you asked for...but we're all friends here. At least most of us.

Agreed very bad idea giving opposing fans tickets in prime Smu home sections of Ford Stadium. We had 4-6 North Texas fans in our section screaming wildly for North Texas throughout the game last season. Quite annoying. If you can't get rid of extra tickets we can always get extra tickets in the hands of Smu fans. So before you give them to the enemy (opposing fans), or let tickets go to waste, we'll give you a beer, a brat, and make sure the ticket is in the hands of a cheering SMU fan. Go Mustangs!

my tickets, and frankly my decision. I was glad to have my TCU friends (yeah, you read it right) sitting next to me 2 years ago when we beat them.

if you don't like hearing them cheering, cheer louder.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
