What about the resignation of our defensive coordinator?

I don't see players in the wrong position to make a play. I see our guys being physically dominated at the point of attack. On one of their running TD's I saw two of our defensive linemen basically trying to stop a play with their back (?), while being shoved into the endzone. They didn't have a chance. Not sure how that's the DC's fault.

I saw our D-Line getting pushed around as well (they are not getting very good leverage). Agreed, that's not the DC's fault, we just need better talent.

JJ inherited this talent. We have heard for years from the board's resident recruiting expert that PB wasn't recruiting well. It is possible that he was correct and we are witnessing the results of years of poor recruiting. As painful as this season is, I want to see what JJ can do with recruiting and how that will affect the team in 3-4 seasons.

The kids do seem to play hard just don't have the size, speed strength or intensity to compete with upper tier teams. We currently have Death Valley level talent. Hopefully, JJ can recruit at least Mt. Mckinley level talent and perhaps a few Mt. Everest level talent.
I don't see players in the wrong position to make a play.
..........................................Late in the 2nd quarter with 3rd & 2 play coming, we lined up real tight inside. I was thinking, we are playing a team that uses alot of option and we are not covering it ??? It appeared TCU QB changed the play after seeing our formatioin and run an option pitching to Aaron Brown. Brown could have walked in for a TD on the play, but stepped out of bounds after about a 20 yard gain. Pitiful defensive play whether players or coaches fault.

We have gotten a little off topic. However, the ponies are playing very poorly. Remember guys, it was Jesus not June that turned water into wine. Give it time. We have a good coaching staff and the talent will follow. I wasn't upset with the score so much as the effort. tcu was making big plays right thru the heart of out defense. We are playing a lot of Fr, RdFr, and Soph. Hopefully the will grow into competitve D1 players. Oh, and don't forget that we need to fire everyone involved in our Mkting program. They don't understand that it has been poor performance not poor advertising that is keeping people out of the stands. Texas has "hook'em" and that's all they need because they win. Win and people will come. It doesn't matter if we get Tommy Lee Jones to endorse us. We have to win games.

Yes if we could only motivate the boys and get them to play hard every play. LUV IT.

The game presentation in the past has sucked, and has now sunk even lower.
