I find that when you pick another team to cheer for, it makes for a better Saturday. My suggestions are as follows:
USC
Oklahoma
Florida
Texas
Georgia
I have shirts for all of these if anyone wants to borrow them for game day. It's a great feeling being top 25. I get a kick out of people coming up to me admiring the program I'm supporting at the time and not being embarrased by wearing something from SMU!
You all should really give it a try!

Unless you're other team is UCF then you take two A** Whippings in a row

Adopt the "no expectations" mindset and you won't even have to pick another team. Your Saturdays are still great even if we lose and they are even better if we manage to win.

How true. I bought Ohio State shirts before the season started. They are still in the closet (unused). Guess I need to buy Oklahoma shirts now. At least I can wear my SMU soccer shirt (probably only for the time being after their showing this past weekend).
GO PONIES!!!

Blech! Dirt Burglars? Really? We do have some USC and Texas gear laying around the house, but I'll never stop wearing my SMU gear. No matter how much grief I get.

I have a daughter at LSU (and I have one degree from LSU) so I have adapted LSU as my second team. It really works well here in Arkyland. Last year, I wore a loud purple LSU shirt prior to the LSU-Arkyland game. Talk about a babe magnet. It was like an open invitation for women to come up to me and start a conversation. Shoot, I am getting an Ole Miss shirt as well this year.

Me either. I will never be embarrassed about my alma mater. And while I might watch/cheer for another team, I'll never wear their gear. Ever.
