The Real Problem

TT and TCU were Massively Bigger and better than SMU at every position.
Even Rice was substantially bigger than us.
We matched up pretty well against d-1aa TSU.

We are a d-1aa talent team playing in d-1.

This is going to take years to fix.

Not playing Logan or JW this year was a tremendous mistake.

Only 4 more home games.

Tulane is favored by 17. Good grief.

All true statements. This is the least competitive team I can remember. At least the post DP teams gave you a glimmer of hope and were fun to watch...this team has no athletes and no fire.

This will either be a loooong rebuilding project or continue to be a coaching graveyard that not even June can escape.

June has disapointed me a bit in the way he has handled his QBs...It is now obvious that Bo was always going to start, there was no real competition and when he said he would reevaluate it after three games, he just said that to get some breathing room from all the people upset Willis wasn't playing. He was gambling that Bo would 'WoW' us and it would all die down.

Our only chance for a W is against Memphis and I don't even feel good about that...1-11 or 2-10 here we come.

I hope we target some juco and transfer players to supplement our young roster. Our competition does this so why can't we do this. Also, player retention within the program should improve with jj as coach.

Whereas I understand that JJ has won more games than I ever will....and I understand the philosophy of getting his qb experience, taking his lumps early in his career, and showing loyalty by sticking with him through thick and thin....how about competition breeding the best in an athlete! Knowing that you better get the job done because there is a player(s), hungry for playing time right behind you.....what about that? Seems JJ just needs to tell everybody else "thanks for coming....you may go now!"

I never expected quick turnaround like most on this board but i sure hope JJ doesnt become apart of this coaching graveyard
