In looking at the major team stats and breaking them into 20% groups (ABCDF) SMU got 2 A's, 3 D's, and 12 F's

A - Passing offense (yards per game), Net Punting
D - (D+ Pass Efficiency,) Scoring Offense, Kick Returns
F - all the rest.

This includes 2 as the absolute worst and 7 in the bottom 8.

Im guessing our D's 3rd down stopping percentage is one of those f's?

Actually I did not include that but we are no longer last, we are only next to last in that category! Another F-.

The F's include: Rush offense, total offense, rush defense, pass efficiency defense, total defense, scoring D, punt returns, turn over margin, pass D, sacks, tackles for loss, sacks allowed.

Bump for chillinfool who did not know our D was so bad. (It is not just the D.)

Of course our punt returns are going to be at the bottom of Div 1-A since we rarely force the opponent to punt (see 3rd down stats).

As bad as our stats are, Tulane's defensive stats are amazing. Im worried.

With all the scoring against us, I bet we're number 1 in kickoff returns attempted.

At least Henderson will shatter some records.

He already became the new leader in SMU history for return yards. I believe he is 2nd in C usa with return yards this year.

That was on a yards per return basis, not total yards.
