Bennett's last 3 recruiting classes + Freshman QB= Disaster

Aren't we really just paying the price now for the recruiting classes Bennett put together since his 0-12 season.
His recruiting was awful. Many on this board pointed out that SMU was the only school that offered most of our players.
We are reaping the ill winds of the PB years even in a bottom teir conference.
I think JJ is making a mistake to burn it down then rebuild. It is so hard to recruit after a 1-11 season. So hard to build enthusiasm.

i guess you could say that but if there are any recruits still left after the 0-12 season they will graduate this year

Don't understand why you are singling out Bennett. That implies that things were better pre-PB or better prior to his 0-12 season.
Only 4 schools out of 117 have won fewer games than SMU in the past 20 years.
SMU has paid the price for 20 years of bad recruiting.

Have you not read the reports about the recruits coming in? Coach Jones and his staff will be able to recruit just fine, whether we go 1-11, 9-3 or anywhere in between.

Yes he will, for two or three years and then recruits will shy away unless we are winning 7 games or so.
Bet we are winning and the recruits get even better.
Love what the O-line is doing.
