Markus Pratt. Strong, quick DE - overshadowed last year by Luke Johnson, and then this spring we all talked about Kevin Aldridge. Pratt will be key for our defense this year. Looking for a huge year from MP.

James McCarthy is another who most likely does not get the credit that he deserves. He is a great player and a great leader. He has got to be one of the key returning players for the next year.

Bryan McDearman.

He's supposed to be too slow, too short, too whatever. All he does is make tough catches -- sometimes in traffic -- and hang on to the ball. Other teams will overlook him because of the fanfare surrounding Comet, Cardwell, Carter, etc. But McDearman will earn a hell of a lot of fans before he's through at SMU.

I think it is Bryan McDearman, hands down. He is a great posession reciever. He has great hands, and he seems to find ways to get open....I think this guy does not get the credit he deserves so much1

Chase Schavrda. He's supposed to be too small, or too slow, or too something.... But they can't keep him our of the lineup, and all he does is makes plays.

Rich Nichols. Has done a nice job stepping into the lineup.
