In the first half SMU had a ton of dropped balls and that is something that can be corrected. When you're offense is clicking its hard to stop. Your team never quit and left it all on the field.
Tulane was the better team today (at least in the 1st half) but SMU put up a good fight. I think in a few yeas when JJ gets the right players and everyone is on the same page on offense, SMU will win quite a few games.
Obviously, I'm glad Tulane won ... but don't fret, JJ is building a program and growing pains are sometimes hard to watch on the field but SMU played a solid 2nd half. Hopefully your team can build on that going into next week.
Good luck the rest of the way!

Keep your heads up Pony Fans!
What is their to keep my head down about?
That's the best I've seen SMU play this season. Finally see a small glimpse at why Jones is so high on Bo.
Congrats on the win.

You know things are bad, when a Tulane fan, tells you to keep your head up.

Take it easy, ALEX. He's right. We played as badly as we possibly could in the first half, and still had a chance with a couple of minutes left. We had a ton of dropped passes, stupid penalties and missed tackles, and still fought our way back into the game. As depressed as I was in the first half, I'm more optimistic now about the future of this team than I have been all season.

I keep hearing that soundbite of Don Nelson that the Ticket used to play when he first took over the Mavs. "They all suck.."

Yes, agreed. June Jones is Don Nelson in this version, no doubt.
Let's hope the turnaround he runs is as successful as it was for the Mavs....without the collapse in game 3 of the finals...

Funny as hell.... which reminds me..... if it's funny as hell, why does nobody laugh when they get there?
