In my opinion its nice to see a third option step up on this offense. Ar and ES are proving they belong but then what? Finally Terrance Wilkerson becomes a legit third target.

But as i have said before even if JW was playing,

this offense is missing mapps bad!

We have the worst backfield imaginable at this point!

I think he's got some potential but he's still learning the position which is natural for a young kid. For example on Thursday he short armed a possible TD in the endzone-the type of pass that Sanders has laid out on about 5 times this year and come out with the catch. I'm not sure if he really has great speed. But I believe his up-side potential is a lot higher than several guys that I'm scratching my head wondering what the heck they are doing starting various SMU games at the Division 1A level this year.

Stallion-

I couldn't agree more about some of the palyers on the field?

Are we really that thin at receiver?

Why don't they put that Bradley Haynes back in?

at what point do you go back to devon Bailey over Rock???

Is there no room on the field for Burley anywhere?

now that you mention it, I don't even remember seeing Burley on the sideline or on special teams

if our receivers wouldnt drop any passes, we'd have a respectable wr corp that should include the three talked about plus haynes. no clue why he hasnt got any more playing time. i think our backfield is garbage with demyron, but becomes respectable with butler who should be the number one back in my opinion.

and yes put bailey in for rock

Not Bailey - Chris Banjo is the emerging talent at safety. At the moment, he's backing up Tyler Jones, and getting more and more playing time, but if he can learn the other safety spot, he should be starting with Jones. They've bee the best two safeties we have this year.

No, right now they are the second-team safeties - Banjo behind Jones, and Bailey behind Dennis. But I agreee with SMUguy's assertion that Banjo is the guy we need on the field. He's a guy who makes plays, and we need more of that.
