Does Orsini know our official attendance counter is moonlighting in the Crescent City?

There wasn't 15K, much less 25K. On the field there were hundreds of HS students being recognized for educational purposes as well as various extra bands.
Tulane students were enjoying themselves and loud in the first half, but only totaled several hundred at the most.
Unfortunately, Thursday night schedule may have hurt attendance too.

Wow.
I was expecting more along the lines of 2,000 or so. There's absolutely no way that 3/4ths of those people were at the game.

Yep, I'm sure on Thursday night the Tulane students are back in their rooms cramming for their early Friday classes.

The guy counting attendance there must have been a former accountant at Enron..
You would think with the NCAA rules on required attendance numbers, that there would be some oversight on these numbers, or are other programs fudging their numbers to this extent as well?

If Tulane thinks there were 25,000 people there, that is ok with me. 20,000 of them were from SMU.

At one point in the game, there was a pretty good crowd on the home side of the Superdome. 25,000 - no way. But there were at least 12,500 there.

Tulane was running a promotion called "Bring Your "A" Game" as a tribute to those who have returned to public education in New Orleans. All a student had to do for free admission to the game was bring an "A" paper from school. At one point a friend remarked to me that we had more cheerleaders on they field than they had "A" students in the stands.

This is a lot different that reports given here.

They must have found more bodies in the SuperDome left over from Hurricane Katrina.
