I don’t enjoy seeing Jones squirming around at these media events. Gastric stomach induced by sub par football...

JJ's body language is telling!

Not a Happy Boy. :?

Forget about seeing anyone other than BLM as QB this year.

BTW why can't they give microphones to those asking questions?

Can't hear a single question!

Two things.

One, I mentioned on another thread I think he's getting frustrated b/c he's experiencing that regardless of the caliber coach he is, he can do everything but play. Right strategy right scheme right adjustments right alignments. But players make plays. Add to that the aura of SMU, which is pretty much the same as the aura of the Arizona Cardinals, and that's what he's dealing with.

Two, ditto the microphone. In fact, I think we should make them "SMU football Town Hall" meetings. With a studio audience. Put it on WFAA. Have students produce it.

Those press conferences aren't for you. They are for members of the media to attend. It happens to be a nice byproduct for the fans that SMU records them, and puts them on the web for the fans and community to use. The only advantage is that media members who weren't at the conference can also access it on the web.

Plus, it's ridiculously stupid to pass a microphone around a room with about 12 people in it, who can all hear what everyone is saying.

sorry, I must have forgotten the "do not take this literally" button. Of course I realize a P R E S S conference is for the...umm....PRESS. I guess I'll need to work on being much more serious for the entirety of all of my posts. Thanks for the help, though. Carry on.

I'm shocked and surprised that every Tuesday ESPNU televises the Press Conferences of the College Coaches from around the country.

Press Only?

BTW You can here all the questions!

Sounds like an SMU problem to me.
