we'll be stoked in 2016....woo hoo. those 1st two years look about right.

The casual fan that looks at "June Cometh" isn't going to understand that at all.

What happened to the popular Magic Pixie Dust-Coach Em Up-If We Could Only Get a Coach Who Could Motivate the Boys Theory?

yeah, what sucks is JJ is outta here after five years. He's mentioned that multiple times. Then we get someone a la McMackin @ Hawaii this year.

and unfortunately, we can't attribute a 2 win season to the fact that we are playing florida, georgia, tennessee, caliber teams every year.....

Yes - the Moral of the story is that it takes a good coach 5 years to turn around a bad program IN A BCS CONFERENCE.

Playing in the SEC with Vanderbilt is a heck of a lot different than SMU in CUSA. Please tell me that you know the difference.

Fresno beat them in every aspect. Except they had 6 turnovers...

No, it usually happens in the morning, after a cup of coffee and some breakfast.

Hmmmm, ok, let's see....... using your logic, by the time Coach Jones contract runs out we'll have amassed a record of ( 2+2+5+4+5) 18-40.

18-40. 5 years, 10 million dollars, Jones retires and heads back to Hawaii to sit on the beach...... and all we should expect is 18-40? No winning records in 5 years? You want everyone to sit back and be happy about that? Hmmmmmm........... well, the only response I can give to that is something along the lines of Bite Me.

What matters is the scoreboard. If beating a team in every aspect counted for something, we could claim a victory over TCU in 2007.

Amazing. I just looked up the box score from the TCU/SMU 2007 game and sure enough...
