if the Rays can live in the gutter for 10 years in the AL East and come out of nowhere to win the division and havfe only 4 wins away from the WS, then SMU can be revalent again.
but the Rays did it with recruiting, something we cannot do. hopefully JJ can lead the way in recruiting

the royals will always suck. too bad the dodgers are taking this one home all the way

With the Cubs and Angels flaming out, I think the Phillies are the team to beat this year. They are too deep and have 2 1/2 solid starters. (Moyer is good sometimes). And if they have a lead going into the 9th, they don't lose with Lidge closing. I would not be surprised to see the Rays take it all though. For some reason, they beat the Red Sox in Tampa regularly, and four games are in Tampa.
