What are YOUR expectations and hopes?

Top 25 in everything we do is a great long-term goal. Whether we ever reach it or not, I'm not sure, but I do like setting a high standard. However, I cannot begin to tell you all how happy I would be if could just return to a time of stabilized respectability.
I am tired of people finding it funny or "cute" that I follow SMU football. I don't enjoy knowing that the first time we make a bowl game will be our program's greatest success in 20+ years.
If we were perennial contenders for the CUSA west crown and we had a legit chance of making a bowl each and every year I would be happy. Basically, if we could have the same level of success that UH has had over the last 5 seasons (4 bowls and 1 CUSA championship in 5 seasons) I'd be ecstatic. This year, sitting at 2-3, they still stand a good chance to become bowl eligible which would make it 5 of 6 seasons.
Think of that level of success (which albeit is not the be all end all) but at SMU on our beautiful campus and in our amazing stadium. How much more exciting would the Blvd. be? How much more would each one of us anticipate the start of each upcoming season? I love SMU football so much as it is right now, I cannot imagine how amazing it would be to actually have some semblance of tangible results to be excited about.
Maybe I'm mailing it in, but what I wouldn't do to just be respectable and be one of the bigger fish in the small CUSA pond. So, what are YOUR expectations and hopes for our program. What would make YOU happy?
