OK, this is football related because JJ was there. However, perhaps some of you can explain this to me.

I am still struggling with Saturday's loss, so when I arrived at the NSL I order a beer. When I don't drink Guinness I drink the Banquet Beer, so I put in an order for a Coors. Waitress comes back to inform me, despite the fact that she was worked there since it opened and apparently she does not know what beer they stock, they have no Coors. So I order an MGD. Off she goes.....Back she comes (all 17 feet of legs included). No MGD. Then she drops the hammer. My choices of non-light beer are as follows.....Lone Star, Budweiser and, wait for it......Pabst Blue Ribbon!!!!!

When did PBR hit Dallas? That is the second time I have found myself drinking PBR in three days, having never been offered it in my previous 9 years in Dallas. Something is rotten in Denmark, people, mark my words.

And, btw, the burgers and sandwiches at NSL, while tasty, come with no fries. Cheap *******s.

Coach Jones and Gary Cogill were amazing for those of you not there. JJ really does command the attention of the room.

well pabst blue ribbon owns the Lone Star brands right now, even though they contract out to different breweries, so thats probably why you saw both of them at the same place. i golfed with one of their vp's awhile back, and although im not a pbr type of guy, after talking all day on the course he took down my address and sent me a really nice PBR golf shirt...

NSL is the worst run bar in Dallas! Be glad you did not try to order anything special off the vast menu as they would not have it!

$2. But $1 if you shotgun it.
