more gaudy stats-Colt McCoy 29-32 91% 337 yards. Hitting on something like 82% of his passes on the season. Can anyone in the country-except apparently TCU-play some DEFENSE?

But of UTEPs 35 points, they scored 28 in the first quarter.

The only stat I heard was 28-28 after 1 quarter, can't even imagine the offensive stats after that quarter....wait a minute, I've been watching our D all season, so I don't have to imagine...

2 touchdowns were scored in the last 3 seconds of the 1st qtr. It was that kind of game.

To that point, both WSU and UNT are both on track to break the points allowed in a season record. Washington State would need to allow 182 in their last 4 games and UNT would need to allow 212 in their last 5 games.

UNT is also on track to break the points allowed per game record. They are currently at 50.7 and the record is 50.3.

my question to this is - does this say something about our bad defense? Tulsa was averaging 50someodd points per game before playing us, we held them to 37.
