UNIVERSITY PARK – The Mustangs have let three consecutive winnable games slip through their grasp, including two at home that came down to the closing minutes. Coach June Jones said his team isn't necessarily getting tight in the clutch, but it lacks the killer instinct needed to close out opponents.
"I don't see that attitude of, 'I'm going to be the guy that takes over the game right here,' " Jones said. "That comes from doing it, and the one time we do that, then all of a sudden, it'll start to take hold."
