As the Mustangs get ready to head to Annapolis to face the Navy Midshipmen, the SMU coaches are preparing for the first time to face an option-based offense. Among the most important position groups in defending the option is the linebackers, so we've lined up linebackers coach TIM HUNDLEY to join us for the show.

Come out to Peggy Sue's BBQ in Snider Plaza from 7-8 tomorrow (Wednesday night), enjoy some great food and hear Coach Hundley's plan to have his team ready for Saturday.

For those who live out of town, or can't make it out to the show, the show can be heard at www.kvce.com.

Pete Fleps has been great when teams have snuck in an option play on us. Hopefully Coach Hundley has the rest of the crew ready to do the same.

okay so how did it go? Anyone?

I spoke with a UTEP fan before football season started, and he wasn't exactly pro-Hundley

I'm pro hundley...but the bbq was great as well...so it kinda makes things hazy. But seriously he fits in well with the coaching staff, had good things to say. He echoes everything of importance that June wants you to know as a fan and supporter.

I thought it was pretty good, although Coach Hundley was a little hard to hear a couple of times (or maybe my computer at the office needs better speakers). Why do they have that James guy ask any questions? All he does is tell every assistant coach that this staff has the best chemistry he's ever seen (and then expect an answer to a non-question), and then repeat the questions the other two panelists ask. That host guy needs to get out of the way, too. Let the people who cover the team ask the questions.

Coach Hundley was cool, though - he just needed his mic turned up.

How can you tell? I can never understand what the hell he says on the radio, anyway.
