It's misserable, sideways rain...not good conditions for an air assault, submarines are looking good.

Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

we need the rain to stop. You can pass the ball very well in wet field conditions because receivers know where they are going but rain and wind are very problematical for this offense. Even wet Field conditions probably negate Robinsion's outrageous speed.

I should add, it could be worse. Temps are in the 60's, if it was cold AND rainy I might capitulate.

Submarines are good because you don’t have to worry about being maimed. You live or you die.

have to say these were the most miserable conditons I've ever sat thru to "enjoy" a game. It was like sitting thru a tropical storm, except for temperatures in the 50's. Winds shifted at half time and wind was blowing sideways for half the game. Rained for probably 45 or the 60 minutes of play.
I sometimes wonder if SMU doesn't have a black cloud hanging over us. I've been up here all week and it was beautiful until today...and I understand it will be nice tomprrow for the trip home to Charleston.
Always the optimist, all I can say is that it is nice to have a bye to prepare for the homecoming game. Could realistically be our last hope for another win this year.
Bright spots were Phleps (who the PA guy called "Phelps" all day) and Lunday.
