we are currently enjoying our longest losing streak against Division 1A Football teams in the history of the University. Currently on an 18 game losing streak to Division 1A schools. Previous record I believe was 15 by Phil Bennett(2003-2004) and 13 by Gregg/Rossley(1990-1991). Long live Mike Cavan.

I say we perform either an exorcism or a mock funeral of the PONY-UP slogan. OH-YEEEAAAHHHH!

Either that or burn Stallion in effigy. Didn't that work in 2000?

Anybody have an extra casket laying around they aren't using. Bring it to the Boulevard for the Memphis Game-We'll burn every piece of "Pony-Up!" we can get our hands on. Maybe get on TV too.

Thank you to the administration for allowing us to be apart of this wonderful distinction. They created the environment & now JJ has the dubious distinction of working us out of it.

Don't blame JJ - he ain't the problem. We know "who" the problems are & they finally came to their senses - hopefully

I'd attribute this one to PB as well

watch out, Memphis. Our guys will be looking to show they aren't as bad as they looked Saturday and we really need these 2 weeks to recover from Navy and get ready for Memphis. Perfect time for the bye.

As the old "bottom 10" joke goes...the good news is that SMU gets "Bye" this week. The bad news is that Bye is favored by 3

The bad news is that Memphis is down to their 3rd team QB.

Edit: Their 3rd stringer was injured last night. They are on their 4th teamer.

The only difference being that the rain would have put out the fire from the fireworks show that burned up the south end zone area

Bennett's 2002 team lost that HOME game to Navy by 31 pts.

Jones' 2008 team lost a ROAD game by only 27.

Obvious sign of improvement. Can anyone deny? Granted, it would have been tough to burn anything down in that monsoon.

We have a long tradition of getting blown out by Navy

1995-Navy 33 SMU 3 (Rossley)
1997 Navy 46 SMU (Cavan)

We did beat Navy 42-13 in 1993 under Rossley
