Uh oh, I just hope our dubious history doesn't repeat. I would feel better, if they had to pull someone out of the tuba section on gameday.

We would probably fall in the tuba and then they would blow us out.

Well, it's already proven that our opponents don't need to be able to pass the ball to beat us.
It's a crappy job but someone's gotta do it.

Brett Tony (3rd string) will lead the Tigers against SMU...
he's played twice...his last 2 games:
against ECU: 11/16 for 65 yards. (0 TD 0 INT)
against Southern Miss: 7/13 for 102 yards. (1 TD 1 INT)
he's a redshirt Junior...so he knows the offense.
he's listed as 6 foot 1 (really, 6 foot)...190 (I would say 185)
he's fast, but not the best runner...
expect Memphis to try and run, run, run...that just might open the passing game for Brett.
should be a fun game!
Go Tigers!!!

It doesn't matter. Memphis could put their 4th string Nose Guard at QB and let him run QB sneaks all day and we couldn't stop it.

In his press conference, did JJ give an explanation as to why they could not stop Dobbs? Just curious what his thoughts were.

We are going for 2-in-a-row pass defense shutouts!

How much did our pass defense climb in the national rankings after we held Navy without a single completion?
