Be careful if you go to Greenville Ave. Some guy got shot with a machine gun in the middle of the afternoon while sitting in the Snuffers parking lot today. It had the people on the Snuffers patio, enjoying cheese fries and a beer, diving for cover. What in the hell is up with that? I guess that is Dallas for ya.

Last time I was down there, I went to Jack-in-the-box (their tacos are a delicacy not available back here in the urbane east), near NorthPark, and a guy was shooting up heroin right next door in a church yard in plain view. I kind of lost my appetite for those tacos. The Greenville corridor is just plain rough at times.

Well, the Snuffers thing was obviously a drug deal gone bad.

So your ability to jump to conclusions has extended beyond sports! You have a real gift.

Regardless of the circumstances that led to this, my thoughts are with the family of the victim.
